These items came from trash beach near the NATO base in Reykjavik Iceland that was finally closed just
last year after being opened since WWII. Trash Beach was a place that people used to dump their trash for
many years between 1944 to the late 50’s until the government of Iceland put a stop to it. This place was
like a giant rock tumbler with tides of 18 feet beating up against huge boulders on the side of a 50 foot
cliff.

The dog tags read Wm F. Weiss from Progressive PA and George W. Massey. The neat pin in the center is
marked “830S”.
