the Java-sea 1942, the landings at Normandy 1944, up to the Pacific 1945; whereever Dutch soldiers found
themselves in combat....
Bronze cross 40mm, the obverse showing the effigy of Queen Wilhelmina with scroll "Voor
Krijgsverrichtingen", the reverse 'F.S. Inv' for its designer Frans Smits + Kon. Begeer-Voorschoten; for
the manufacturing co. of the cross. Mounted in the standard Dutch MILITARY way by the firm of Tack-Breda
still in its original cellophane wrapper !
